Public Opinion Research

Public opinion research helps shape policies and programs at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The results of the research are used to help the CFIA better meet the needs of Canadians and stakeholders.

Public opinion research also helps the CFIA to maximize the effectiveness of its communications.

All Government of Canada departments and agencies provide their public opinion research reports to Library and Archives Canada (LAC) within six months of completing the data collection. This step makes the research available to the public.

Hard copies of reports on research completed before August 2006 can be obtained in person at this address:
