Ottawa, April 5, 2011 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people with allergies to milk or peanuts not to consume various Assi brand Wheat Flour Mix products described below. These products contain milk and peanuts which are not declared or improperly declared on the label.

All codes of the following Assi brand Wheat Flour Mix products, imported from Korea, are affected by this alert.

These products have been distributed nationally.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk or peanuts.

The importers are voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
