Ottawa, May 4, 2011 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Quality Natural Foods Ltd. are warning people with allergies to wheat not to consume Quality brand Punjabi Wadi Spicy Lentil Chunks. The affected products contain wheat which is not declared on the label.
All of the following Quality brand Punjabi Wadi Spicy Lentil Chunks are affected by this alert:

There are no lot codes or batch numbers on these products.
These products have been distributed nationally.
There have been no reported allergic reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to wheat.
The importer, Quality Natural Foods Ltd., Scarborough, Ontario is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
