Ottawa, August 30, 2011 - The public warning issued on August 25, 2011 has been expanded to include additional products.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people with sensitivities to gluten not to consume the Indianlife brand Papadums described below. The affected products may contain gluten which is not declared on the label.
The following Indianlife brand Papadums, product of India, sold in 120 g packages, are affected by this alert:

These products have been distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia.
There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious reaction in persons with sensitivities to gluten.
