Ottawa, September 20, 2011 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Asti Holdings Ltd. are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume Nougat d’Or brand Honey Almond Nougat products, described below. The affected products may contain milk which is not declared on the label.
The affected Nougat d’Or brand products are packaged in 130 g packages bearing the lot code 111591111, 113541011 or 110241111.

These products have been distributed in British Columbia and Alberta.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.
The manufacturer, Asti Holdings Ltd., New Westminster, British Columbia is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
