Ottawa, November 1, 2011 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Sobeys Inc. are warning the public not to consume the ground beef products described below as these products may contain metal pieces.

These products were sold at one Sobeys store only, 961 Bedford Highway, Bedford, Nova Scotia.

The following in-store packed ground beef products with a "Packaged On" date of OC 31,11 are affected by this alert.

Sobeys Inc., Bedford, Nova Scotia is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace.
