Ottawa, March 14, 2012 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Canadian T & J International Development Inc. are warning people with sensitivity to sulphites not to consume the Natural World brand Dried Fungus products described below. The affected products contain sulphites which are not declared on the labels.
The following Natural World brand products are affected by this alert:

The affected products contain no lot codes.
These products have been distributed in British Columbia.
There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with sensitivity to sulphites.
The importer, Canadian T & J International Development Inc., Richmond, BC, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
