Ottawa, April 3, 2013 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the certain Heartland Gourmet gluten free, dairy free, Baking Mixes described below. The affected products may contain milk which is not declared on the label.

The affected products are being recalled by Heartland Gourmet, LLC of Lincoln, NE, in the USA, and the CFIA is working with the various Canadian importers to have these products removed from the marketplace.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.

The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recalls.
