Species Susceptible to Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has removed the requirement for an import permit for aquatic animal species susceptible to epizootic ulcerative syndrome (EUS).

The following table lists species that are susceptible to EUS. For a complete list of species that require import permits, see the Susceptible Species of Aquatic Animals table.

Please note that EUS is an immediately notifiable disease. This means that laboratories must notify the CFIA of any suspected or confirmed cases.
