Certification requirements for the European Union
The following certificates are available:
- Animal Health Certificate for the Import into the European Community of Aquaculture Animals for Farming, Relaying, Put and Take Fisheries and Open Ornamental Facilities (AQAH-0016)
- Animal Health Certificate for the Import into the European Community of Ornamental Aquatic Animals Intended for Closed Ornamental Facilities (AQAH-0019)
Important Notes:
- Certificate (AQAH-0016) is available in the following versions: English (EN) with French (FR), Czech (CS), Estonian (ET), German (DE), Lithuanian (LT) or Polish (PL).
- Certificate (AQAH-0019) is available in the following versions: English (EN) with French (FR), Danish (DA), Dutch (NL), Finnish (FI), German (DE), Polish (PL), Portuguese (PT) or Spanish (ES).
- If other language versions are needed for these certificates, please contact your CFIA Area Office.
- There may be existing certificates or additional information from the Fish and Seafood program. However, for the specific commodities above, an aquatic animal health certificate is required.
