Certification requirements for India

The following certificates are available:

  • Aquatic Animal Health and Sanitary Certificate for the Export of Molluscs for Human Consumption from Canada to India (AQAH-1045)
  • Aquatic Animal Health and Sanitary Certificate for the Export of Eviscerated Finfish and their Products for Human Consumption from Canada to India (AQAH-1046)
  • Aquatic Animal Health and Sanitary Certificate for the Export of Crustaceans for Human Consumption from Canada to India (AQAH-1047)

Important Notes:

  • Certificate (AQAH-1045) only applies to export of molluscs for human consumption.
  • Certificate (AQAH-0046) only applies to the export of eviscerated finfish products for human consumption.
  • Certificate (AQAH-1047) only applies to the export of crustaceans for human consumption.
  • There may be existing certificates or additional information from the Fish and Seafood program. However, for the specific commodities above, an aquatic animal health certificate is required.
