Consultation: Strengthening the Health of Animals Regulations for importing milk and manure

OTTAWA, August 14, 2012 :  The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is reviewing import requirements for milk and manure under the Health of Animals Regulations in order to ensure that Canada’s import controls continue to protect animal and human health.

The Agency would like feedback from stakeholders on amending the regulations.

The deadline for comments is October 20, 2012.
