Claim 1: As an aid in the control of infestation of large roundworms (Ascaris) and nodular worms (Oesophagostomum) in swine.

Level of Drug:

13.2 mg/kg (0.00132%) of complete feed.

Directions:

  1. Growing pigs: Feed this medicated feed continuously as the sole ration to pigs for a maximum of 8 weeks on followed by 8 weeks off in a repeated continuous rotation manner.
  2. Sow ration: Feed medicated feed at the rate of 2.27 kg per sow, per day, to provide the required minimum 30,000 units Hygromycin B per sow per day for a maximum of 8 weeks on followed by 8 weeks off in a repeated continuous rotation manner.

Warning:

  1. Discontinue the use of this medicated feed at least 48 hours before treated swine are slaughtered for use in food.

Caution:

  1. Maintain good sanitation to minimize reinfestation. Avoid skin contact.
  2. Follow label directions for use. The continuous feeding of this medicated feed in excess of the 8 week maximum may, over a period of time, lead to loss of hearing or blindness.

Claim 2: As an aid in the control of infestation of large roundworms (Ascaris) and caecal worms (Heterakis) in broiler chickens.

Level of Drug:

8.8-13.2 mg/kg (0.00088%-0.00132%) of complete feed.

Directions:

Feed this medicated feed continuously as the sole ration for eight weeks. (Worms are expelled gradually over this period.)

Warning:

  1. Discontinue the use of this medicated feed at least 48 hours before treated chickens are slaughtered for use in food.

Caution:

  1. Maintain good sanitation to minimize reinfestation.

Claim 3 : As an aid in the control of infestation of large roundworms (Ascaris) and caecal worms (Heterakis) in replacement chickens.
