Claim 1: As an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis in broiler chickens caused by Eimeria tenella, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. mitis, and E. brunetti.
Level of Drug:
5 mg/kg (0.0005%) of complete feed.
Directions:
Feed this medicated feed continuously as the sole ration from day one to five days prior to slaughter.
Warning:
- Treated chickens must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 5 days after treatment with this medicated
feed.
- Do not feed to laying chickens.
- Keep out of reach of children. (To appear on Premix and Supplement labels only).
- Handle with care. When mixing feed, operators should wear protective clothing, safety glasses and face mask. Wash hands
thoroughly after feed preparation. (To appear on Premix and Supplement labels only).
Caution:
- Use only as recommended. Do not exceed the recommended level of 5 ppm (mg/kg) as reduced weight gains may result with overdosage.
- Do not use for the treatment of outbreaks of coccidiosis.
- Consult a veterinarian or poultry pathologist if losses exceed 0.5% in a two day period.
- Do not use in feeds containing pellet binding agents with the exception of Bentonite, Pel-Aid or Lignin sulfonate. (To
appear on Premix and Supplement labels only).
- Do not feed to replacement or breeding chickens.
Claim 2: As an aid in the prevention of Coccidiosis in turkeys caused by Eimeria
dispersa, E. gallopavonis, E. meleagrimitis and E. adenoeides.
Level of Drug:
5 mg/kg (0.0005%) of complete feed.
