Claim 1: As an aid in the prevention of blackhead (Histomoniasis) in turkeys
Level of Drug:
187.5 mg/kg (0.01875%) of complete feed for turkeys.
Directions:
Feed as sole ration. Start feeding this medicated feed continuously as the sole ration from one to two weeks before blackhead losses are usually expected.
Note:
This product is not effective in preventing blackhead (Histomoniasis) in birds infected more than 4 or 5 days. Signs of blackhead do not appear until 7 to 12 days after the birds become infected
Warning:
- Discontinue the use of this medicated feed at least 5 days before treated turkeys are slaughtered for use in food
- Do not feed to laying hens, replacement and breeding turkeys
Caution:
- Do not use for treating outbreaks of blackhead.
- Use as sole source of arsenic and do not overdose
- Turkeys should have access to drinking water at all times.
- Do not use arsenicals, including this product, in feeds for ducks and geese.
