UNDECLARED MILK IN INCREDIBLE EDIBLE SPREAD'EM SOYA OIL MARGARINE

OTTAWA, February 11, 2010 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and A & M Home Products are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the Incredible Edible Spread'Em Soya Oil Margarine described below. The affected product contains milk ingredients which are not declared on the label.

The affected product, Incredible Edible Spread'Em Soya Oil Margarine with Garlic, Herbs and Spices, is sold in three size tubs: 230 g, 454 g, and 908 g. All codes are being recalled.

This product is sold in Ontario and may have been distributed nationally.

There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.

The manufacturer, A & M Home Products, Hensall, ON, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
