OTTAWA, August 6, 2010 - The public warning issued on July 29, 2010 has been expanded to include additional products.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Nutrisoya Inc. are warning people with allergies to milk proteins not to consume the natur-a Glacé brand dairy-free frozen desserts described below. These products may contain milk which is not declared on the label.

The following additional flavours of the natur-a Glacé brand dairy-free frozen dessert are affected by this expanded alert.

These products have been distributed in Ontario and Quebec.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk proteins.

Nutrisoya Inc., St- Hyacinthe, Quebec, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
