List of Canadian Exporters of Live Shellfish, Live Tunicates, Live Echinoderms or Live Gastropods that Meet the Same or Equivalent Conditions to those Required in the European Union

All exporters who wish to ship fish or fishery products to the European Union (EU) must be listed on the European Union Approved List of Fish Processing Establishments (EU Fishery Products List) for Canada according to Council Directive 91/493/EEC.
In addition, processors who wish to ship live bivalve shellfish, live tunicates, live echinoderms, or live gastropods to the EU must also be on the Official List of Canadian Establishments Authorized to Export Live Shellfish, Live Tunicates, Live Echinoderms or Live Gastropods to the EU.
Note: The EU Health Certificate for live bivalve molluscs is also to be used for live tunicates, echinoderms or gastropods.
When issuing an export certificate to a Canadian facility shipping to the EU, CFIA inspectors will verify that the facility is on the list below. Also, border inspection staff use these lists to verify that incoming product from Canada originates from an approved facility, and will refuse entry of a product if the facility's name does not appear on this list.
