A certification agreement has been reached with Nicaragua for pork and beef meat products.

11.7.3.4 Additional certification

11.7.3.4.1 Annex A

Only Annex A is to accompany the shipment to Nicaragua. The CFIA/ACIA 1454 must not be completed and is to be used only for the purpose of obtaining a serial number which should be typed on Annex A. Consequently, CFIA/ACIA 1454 is to be voided. The Ottawa copy of the CFIA/ACIA 1454 is then to be forwarded to Ottawa stapled with a copy of Annex A. The inspector's copy of the CFIA/ACIA 1454 and another copy of Annex A will be kept on file.

11.7.3.4.2 Beef

Annex B must be issued.

11.7.3.4.3 Pork

The following attestation must be included in the section of additional certification of Annex A:

Canadá es un país libre de Fiebre Porcina Clásica y no se practica la vacunación contra esta enfermedad. / Canada is free from Classical Swine Fever without vaccination. / Le Canada est exempt de peste porcine classique et la vaccination ne s'utilise pas.
