The CFIA has reached an agreement with Sri Lankan officials on the certification requirements for poultry meat.
The exporter is responsible for obtaining all the required import documents. It is important that the exporter review the conditions carefully to ensure that all the import requirements are met. Sri Lanka may require proof that the products meet their approved microbiological standards and may also test the product upon entry into the country.
Conditions for export are restricted to poultry meat. Conditions have not yet been established for meat of other species.
