Constituent materials: identification and description of all materials used in the production of the end-product, the source and proportion of these materials (include all formulants: dust controls or anticaking agents, etc.).
Other Qualities: this includes physical characteristics (e.g. colour, granular/liquid, etc.) description of the manufacturing process, and size guide number (SGN) for blending products.
Registration Fee
Designation of signing authority T4-95 or written indication that signing authority is unchanged from previously provided documentation.
If applicant lives outside Canada, Declaration of the Canadian Agent Form - PDF (65 kb) or written indication that Canadian Agent is unchanged from previously provided documentation.
A rationale indicating why the product is considered efficacious. This rationale should indicate the target market, the anticipated blending process (i.e. what nutrients or balance of nutrients are aimed to be provided and the incorporation rate), benefits of using such a formulation, and how the formulation will meet the nutrient requirements of the target crop(s).
Efficacy data for products which require data according to Appendix A of T4-108 Efficacy data requirements for fertilizers and supplements regulated under the Fertilizers Act.
Safety data as requested in Appendix 1 of the T4-122 Service Delivery Standard for Fertilizer and Supplement registration Related Submissions under the Fertilizers Act and Regulations.
The Fertilizer Section and Fertilizer Safety Office reserves the right to require additional information, data, fees, rationale or results of analysis to support the registration/approval of any product regulated under the Fertilizers Act and Regulations.
