You are invited to a Workshop on the Fertilizer Program Modernization to be held in Ottawa, Ontario on October 15, 2009. This workshop will provide participants with an interim progress report on the implementation of service delivery standards, as well as Fertilizer Program modernization projects for 2009/10. The participants will also learn about current and emerging Canadian Food Inspection Agency priorities and regulatory initiatives that impact the program and the stakeholder community.
As part of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to participate in discussions on various regulatory/policy initiatives, as well as comment on, and ask questions about, the modernization process to date. Please refer to Appendix A for the Workshop Agenda.
The Workshop will be held at the Albert at Bay Hotel (435 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario; phone number: 613-238-8858). The workshop will commence at 8:30 am on October 15, 2009 and conclude at 4:00 pm.
