Origin & Breeding History: 'Poulty019' originated from a controlled cross conducted during the summer of 2007 at the breeding facilities of Poulsen Roser A/S in Fredensborg, Denmark, as part of a breeding program to hybridize rose varieties for commercial glasshouse and nursery culture. The cross involved two unnamed seedlings as the parents. The resultant seeds were planted in December 2007 and germinated during the winter and early spring. In the spring of 2008, one seedling was selected for its compact and vigorous growth when propagated on its own root, profusion of red and white striped flowers, suitability to glasshouse culture throughout the year, resistance to typical rose diseases, and very long post-harvest flowering characteristics.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Poulty019' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 20121305, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany, in 2013. The colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
