SEEDLING: anthocyanin colouration of hypocotyl present

PLANT: indeterminate growth habit, tall, flowers early to mid-season, early fruit maturity

STEM: weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration, medium to long internode

LEAF: horizontal to semi-drooping attitude, long, medium to broad, bipinnate division of blade
LEAF BLADE (UPPER SIDE): medium green, medium to strong glossiness, weak blistering
LEAFLET: medium sized, horizontal attitude of petiolule in relation to main axis of leaf

INFLORESCENCE: mainly uniparous type
PEDUNCLE: abscission layer present, medium to long
FLOWER: yellow, pubescence of style present

IMMATURE FRUIT: medium extent of green shoulder, medium to dark green shoulder, very light to light green skin excluding shoulder, no green stripes
MATURE FRUIT: small, very large length to diameter ratio, cylindric shape in longitudinal section, very weak to weak ribbing at peduncle end, absent to very weak depression at peduncle end, very small peduncle scar, very small blossom scar, indented to flat at blossom end, small diameter of core (in cross-section) in relation to total diameter when viewed from above, very thin to thin pericarp, two and three locules, orange skin, medium glossiness of skin, orange flesh, firm to very firm

Origin & Breeding History: 'Farbini' (experimental designation 72-188 RZ) originated from a cross conducted in August 2013 in De Lier, Netherlands. From the resulting progeny, the hybrid tomato variety 'Farbini' was selected in June 2014 for its fruit shape, cluster shape, orange skin and fruit taste.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Farbini' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT3077, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands from 2017 to 2018.
