Asian Long-Horned Beetle - News Releases

The CFIA is implementing an aggressive campaign to control and eradicate this unwanted pest with the full cooperation of the City of Vaughan, the City of Toronto and other federal, provincial and municipal partners.

If you believe that you may have found this beetle, please contact a local CFIA office or call 800-442-2342. There are several native Canadian insects ( White spotted Sawyer beetle, Western Conifer Seed Bug, Banded Alder Beetle) which look similar to the Asian Longhorned Beetle.
