This map shows gypsy moth survey sites in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2006. A total of 350 delta traps were deployed in areas that were identified as locations that posed a high risk of possible introduction, such as campgrounds, recreational sites, tourist chalets and wooded areas frequented by visitors. Most survey sites were near the towns of Port-aux-Basques, Corner Brook, Gander, and St. John's. Three males were captured in the city of St. John's and three males were captured in Goose Bay.
