The development of these standards has been an ongoing process and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is grateful to those who were involved in the preliminary phases of this project. The current version of the standard was developed by the Office of Biohazard Containment and Safety (OBCS) and reviewed by a group of individuals/ organizations that have been involved in this process from the inception.
