Investigation into Capital Packers Inc. (Listeria monocytogenes)

Following additional food safety testing and a thorough food safety investigation, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has lifted the suspension on Establishment 231, Capital Packers Inc.'s operating license. Effective December 5, 2012, the establishment was allowed to resume production under ongoing and intensified inspection by the CFIA.
