Notes: The maximum validity of this annex is 1 year for birth farms, feedlots and auction markets

On-site assessments are performed using the Annex R12 at least twice a year for feedlots and at least once a year for cow-calf operations and auction markets. Producer is responsible to contact his CFIA Approved Veterinarian and ask for an assessment within 1 month before expiration of the Certificate of Compliance. If the visit is performed within this 1 month time frame the same annual expiry date can be maintained (does not need to be adjusted from the date of assessment).
