Low-Acid and Acidified Low-Acid Foods In Hermetically Sealed Containers - Visual Inspection Protocol
This protocol was developed co-operatively by Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and is intended to be used by government inspectors to inspect low-acid and acidified low-acid foods in hermetically sealed containers.
Note: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has specific legislation concerning the inspection of products packaged in hermetically sealed containers. When the requirements under this protocol differ from the regulations, the regulations will prevail.
