Serving Size for Bread
Serving size ranges are suggested in the Tables: Reference Amounts and Serving Sizes. Manufacturers have the option of using serving sizes that differ from the suggestions in the table provided they are reasonable and not misleading. For example, a serving size of 2 slices of bread (72 grams) is acceptable even though the suggested serving size is 1 or 2 slices (25-60 grams).
