The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is responsible for monitoring and enforcing the Organic Products Regulations, 2009 All food sold in Canada, whether domestic or imported, must also comply with the Food and Drugs Act and Regulations , and the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act and Regulations.

The following certification bodies are accredited by the CFIA to certify agricultural products as organic in accordance with the requirements of the Canada Organic Regime:
