Label Review (LR)

Submission Requirements

• Cover Letter explaining the intent of the submission
• A copy of the proposed marketplace label
• Constituent Materials:
  • Identification and description of all materials used in the production of the end product (include all formulants; dust control anticaking agents etc.)
  • The source of the materials used
  • Proportion of the materials
• Description of the manufacturing / blending process
• Designation of Signing Authority or written indication that signing authority is unchanged from previously provided information (Trade Memoranda T-4-95)
• Four (4) sets of pathogen (faecal coliforms and Salmonella) and metal - arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr) copper (Cu), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), molybdenum (Mo), nickel (Ni), selenium (Se), zinc (Zn) analysis if product contains:
  • Compost
  • Processed sewage
  • If a by-product or waste material, all of the information in Trade Memoranda T-4-112 - Information Required for the assessment of by-products and other waste materials sold as fertilizers or supplements
