Contarinia nasturtii - Swede Midge

Swede midge (Contarinia nasturtii) is a pest of "Brassicaceae" crops, which include broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, radish and canola. Established populations of the swede midge have been reported on plants belonging to the family Brassicaceae in the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
There is no threat to human health from this pest.
