About the consultation
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has launched a consultation to seek feedback on the proposed Plant Health Science Mobilization Plan. The consultation will be open for a 60-day period from September 21, 2020, to November 20, 2020.
The plan proposes a national vision with clear objectives and concrete opportunities to collaboratively improve science coordination, foster a proactive approach to protect plant health and strengthen evidence-based decision making. The plan was co-developed with partners in the federal government, academia and elsewhere.
Who is the focus of this consultation
The CFIA wants to engage plant health science communities, including:
- all levels of government
- citizen scientists
All comments are also welcome from non-government organizations and members of the public.
