The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is planning to make the use of digital equine infectious anemia (EIA) test certificates mandatory in Canada. When that happens, the paper submission forms that are currently used (CFIA Forms 3937 and 4679) will only be accepted in unique circumstances. The CFIA launched a consultation to seek feedback from EIA accredited veterinarians on how best to implement the change.

The CFIA launched a consultation to seek input from private veterinarians that are accredited by the CFIA to perform duties related to the EIA control program in Canada.
