The list of certification requirements is based on the most current information available to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) at the time of posting. The CFIA assumes no liability for the accuracy of this information. All exporters should confirm country requirements before exporting to a foreign market.

If the CFIA has not yet established an animal health certificate for a commodity and/or country to which that commodity is destined, the exporter must submit a written application outlining the information about the specific shipment. The exporter is responsible for determining the importing country's requirements for their commodity before applying to the CFIA.

To request an export certificate outlined below or to find out more about aquatic animal health export certification, please contact a local CFIA Animal Health Office.
