Livestock feed approval or registration: How to apply

Once you get your information ready, you can fill in and pay for your application for approval or registration through the electronic submission platform, My CFIA.

A person having designated signing authority must send the online application form through My CFIA.

When a Canadian agent signature is required, the CFIA will contact the applicant to get the signature if needed. This step will happen once the CFIA accepts and logs the submission in the queue for review by the CFIA.

The CFIA will only process your payment once the application is accepted to be logged in for evaluation.

Apply using My CFIA

If you are unable to sign up for My CFIA, you can submit your completed form CFIA/ACIA 5933 – Application for Feed Approval or Registration under the Feeds Act and Feeds Regulations and submission package by mail to:
