In Part XV of the Health of Animals Regulations, pig carcasses transported to any site and non-bred pigs transported between non-contiguous parts of a farm and between farms must be accompanied with consignment information in a form that can be immediately read by an inspector.
In Part XII of the Health of Animals Regulations, every railway company, motor carrier and air carrier engaged in the extra-provincial or international transportation of animals for hire shall keep a record of every railway car, motor vehicle or aircraft in which animals are transported extra-provincially or internationally showing information pertaining to the consignor, consignee and the animals transported for each shipment.
