The import conditions and import permit application for importing dogs and cats into the Turks and Caicos Islands are available on the Turks and Caicos Tourism website.

Within this link, you will find the International Health Certificate for Dogs and Cats being Exported to the Turks and Caicos Islands from the United States of America or Canada.

Please read the information carefully to ensure that all the required steps have been followed to allow for your pet's successful and safe entry into the country. The import permit must be obtained from the Animal Health Services Division, Department of Agriculture, Turks and Caicos Islands prior to entry into the country.

Please note that Turks and Caicos Islands may change the pet import requirements without notification to the CFIA. It is strongly advised to review the most up-to-date import conditions to ensure that all requirements are addressed. For further information or clarification on the procedure, please contact your local local CFIA District Office.

Note to veterinarians completing the health certificate

The officials of Turks and Caicos Islands have confirmed that the box requiring a stamp or seal in the licensed/accredited veterinarian endorsement section of the health certificate may contain the clinic stamp or remain empty.
