Origin & Breeding History: 'Inored' originated from a controlled cross conducted in Angers, France in 1995, between the variety 'Pinova' and a selection designated 'X6398'. 'Inored' was initially selected for propagation and further experimentation in 1998 because of its attractive fruit and resistance to common strains of scab. It was first reproduced asexually by grafting in 1998, in Jonquières, France.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Inored' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 4063757, purchased from the Groupe d'Étude et de Contrôle des Variétés et des Semences in Beaucouzé, France. The trials were conducted by the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique in Angers, France, from 2011 to 2014.
