Origin & Breeding History: 'LEUZ0003' originated from a controlled hybrid cross made by the breeder, Har Stemkens, in March 2006, in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands. The cross was made between the female parent, a proprietary seedling designated 'L6916-1' and the male parent, a proprietary seedling designated 'F2772-5'. The resultant seed was sown in June 2006. A single seedling was then selected in August 2006, in Enkhuizen, based on plant vigour, flower size, flower number and time of flowering.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'LEUZ0003' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2016/1815, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany in Cambridge, United Kingdom in 2017. Colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
