Origin & Breeding History: 'KLEDG18305' originated from a cross conducted by the breeder, Lena Gutbrodt, in Stuttgart, Germany in June of 2014. The cross was made between the female parent, proprietary variety DSU-2013-0017, and an unknown male parent. A single seedling was selected in July 2015, in Stuttgart, based on plant growth habit, flower colour and flower longevity. The new variety 'KLEDG18305' was evaluated in greenhouse trials in Stuttgart from September 2015 to April 2016 and assessed for flower colour and flowering habit.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'KLEDG18305' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2018/1220, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Naktuinbouw, in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2019. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
