Summary: The foliage of the plants of 'SAKIMP060' is short to medium whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is very short to short. The intensity of the anthocyanin colouration on the upper part of the shoot of 'SAKIMP060' is weak whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is medium. The leaf blade of 'SAKIMP060' is a medium length whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is short. The leaf blade of 'SAKIMP060' is medium to broad whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is narrow. The anthocyanin colouration on the upper side of the leaf blade for 'SAKIMP060' is a medium intensity whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is weak. The lower side of the leaf blade of 'SAKIMP060' is red between the veins whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is green between the veins. The veins on the lower side of the leaf blade for 'SAKIMP060' are red whereas those for 'SAKIMP030' are green. The intensity of the anthocyanin colouration on the pedicel on 'SAKIMP060' is very weak to weak whereas that for 'SAKIMP030' is weak to medium. The main colour of the upper side of the corolla for 'SAKIMP060' is dark red whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is a lighter dark red. The eye zone of the flower for 'SAKIMP060' is dark brown purple whereas that for 'SAMIKP030' is dark purple red. The lateral petal of 'SAKIMP060' is broad whereas that of 'SAKIMP030' is of medium width.

Origin & Breeding History: 'SAKIMP060' originated from an interspecific hybridization made in Misato, Japan. The hybridization was made between the female parental line 'NH-248-13H' and the male parental line 'NI-548-21HA' in September 2015. The resulting F1 progeny was evaluated in a field trial conducted in Misato, Japan. A single plant was selected based on its flower colour, mounding habit, and rooting characteristics. 'SAKIMP060' was vegetatively propagated and further evaluated in another field trial in Misato, Japan from June to August 2017.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'SAKIMP060' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2021/2784, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2022. Colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
