The trial included a total of 8 plants of the candidate variety and 15 plants of the reference variety. All plants were grown in 22 cm pots and spaced 45 cm apart. Observations and measurements were taken from 8 plants of the candidate variety and 10 plants of the reference variety, or 10 parts of plants of both varieties, in July 2013.
