The florets fade to pink as they mature and there are no petal markings. The hairs on the upper edge of the corolla tube are cream in colour.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Lan Bright Pink' was developed using the pedigree system by Goldsmith Seeds, Inc., in Gilroy, California. It originated from the cross of a red flowered breeding line known as 98-767-1 to the variety 'Temari Pink' in 1999. A single plant selection based on flower colour, form and plant habit was done in 1999.

Tests & Trials: Tests and trials for 'Lan Bright Pink' were conducted in a poly-house during the summer of 2001 in St. Albert, Alberta. The trials consisted of twenty plants per variety. The plants were grown from rooted cuttings which were transplanted to 10 cm pots on June 20, 2001 and pinched twice during cultivation. Unless indicated otherwise, measured characteristics were based on ten measurements.
