Origin & Breeding History: 'SPECGP11' was bred and developed by the breeder, Johannes A.C. Jansen, of Zundert, Netherlands. It originated from an open pollinated cross conducted in the breeder's garden in Zundert, in 2006, between an unnamed female parent and an unnamed male parent. From the resulting progeny, 'SPECGP11' was selected in January 2008, for its pure white flowers, white berries, and burgundy autumn foliage colour. 'SPECGP11' was first propagated asexually by cuttings and tissue culture in 2009, in Zundert, Netherlands.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'SPECGP11' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2013/0219, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw - Variety Center, in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands, in 2014. The colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
