Export Permit
As of June 2017, Belarus has been formally removed from the Area Control List (ACL). As such, exports of uncontrolled goods no longer require an export permit issued under the authority of the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA). For more information please refer to export controls to Belarus.
Documentation requirements
Certificate
Certification requirements have not been agreed upon with the competent authority of Belarus. As Belarus is part of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), CFIA can issue the Sanitary certificate for fish, seafood and products of their processing intended for human consumption, exported from Canada into the Russian Federation (CFIA/ACIA 5561) for the export of fish and seafood products to Belarus.
Letter of Commercial Risk
In addition, a letter of commercial risk must be obtained from the exporter when issuing the above-noted certificate.
