Ottawa, June 22, 2015 - The food recall warning issued on June 19, 2015 has been updated to include additional product information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.
Mixtura Latina Co. is recalling Mixtura Latina Co. brand Mote Blanco Pelado / Peeled White Hominy from the marketplace because it may contain sulphites which are not declared on the label. People with a sensitivity to sulphites should not consume the recalled product described below.
