Subject: Chapter 11 of the Meat Hygiene Manual of Procedures (MHMOP) – section 11.7.3 – European Union

Please be advised that sub-section 11.7.3.6.9.1.5 of Chapter 11 (European Union) in the MHMOP has been updated based on the National Chronic Wasting Disease Control Program.

Effective immediately, the CFIA will not be able to certify meat derived from wild cervids.
